Our purpose built facility in Swansea West Business Park brought together many different
aspects of our business allowing us to showcase a selection of the products that
we are able to supply. The building currently houses fifty members of staff, with
a dedicated CAD design department and a 10,000 Square foot production facility.
Clifford house was created with an environmentally conscience design to allow maximized
use of natural lighting while also insulating against negative natural elements.
We are pleased to invite our clients to attend a tour of our facility in addition
to this we offer our clients CPD seminars and fabrication workshops. We also offer
our customers the opportunity to see their product being fabricated from bar length
to the finished product.

Buildings frequently impress or inspire, but few can make your eyes water like the
foyer to Bristol’s Colston Hall concert venue.
The Colston Hall foyer was designed as an extension to the existing 1868 grade-II
listed concert venue and is part of a cultural quarter near Bristol’s harbour.
The narrow strip windows and projecting bay windows have been designed to mimic
the punched holes of a classical music roll. These windows stretch out over an incredible
15-20 meters per bay to extenuate the awe inspiring curve of the new entrance lobby.

The new home of the Cardiff School of Creative & Cultural Industries is ATRiuM,
a multi-million pound facility at the centre of a modern, lively city. ATRiuM is
a architectural icon, a platform for an eclectic mix of teaching and research in
the theory and practice of media, design and the arts.
Products featured are Kawneer 4001 series framing with SGG Securit Cool-Lite SKN165B
and 16.8mm SGG Stadip Securit Diffusa glazing, powder coated to a black RAL colour
to enhance the contrast between the protruding balcony section and existing white
façade.

as sub contractors for Kier Western, We have undertaken the following works:
A Block: 500sqm Kawneer AA100 series mullion drained slope glazed atriums, AA600
series Blast enhanced windows, 1202 series Blast enhanced curtain walling.
C Block: Replacement of 1000 Kawneer 504 series Top Swing windows.
D Block: Replacement of 2000 Kawneer 601 series fixed light windows.
F Block: Senior Aluminium Systems SPW 600 series.
Amfac VIP Entrance: New entrance pod, AA100 series Slope curtain walling, Circle
slide Automatic door.
Link bridges: 1200sqm Kawneer AA100 series Horizontal cap curtain walling with Concealed
vents.

The eight storey Faraday Tower at Swansea University was originally constructed
in 1950 and is home to the Engineering, Computer science and advanced telecommunications
departments.
AB Glass were appointed by Main Contractors Carillion Regional Building to undertake
the complete refurbishment of the existing curtain walling façade.
Due to the complex nature and sensitivity of equipment within the building, the
existing curtain walling remained in situ and was reglazed with Kawneer 600 series
fixed pane and Kawneer 604 series pivot windows all glazed with a blue Antisun glass
and finished off with projecting face caps.

Langland’s Brassiere is the new café bar brassiere in one of the finest locations
in Britain. It overlooks the graceful sweep of Langland Bay, one of the best known
of Gower’s renowned beaches that’s always popular with surfers and walkers.
Langland Bay Brassiere incorporates Sunflex SF70 series sliding folding doors, Kawneer
451PT series framing and Kawneer 190 series doors manufactured and installed by
AB Glass

This brand new 38,000 sq ft Dental Referral Centre development by Parkway Gould
LLP has recently been completed. The scheme includes underground parking as well
as associated office space on the upper floors. Parkway Clinic and Neat Teeth Orthodontics
are now operating from this state of the art building at SA1.
Dental referral was designed to include Aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling,
brise soleil and glass canopies. Manufactured and installed by AB Glass utilising
Kawneer ACS 51W series windows, Kawneer AA100 series curtain walling, Kawneer 190
series doors, Kawneer 600 series doors to balconies and fire resistant units, brise
soleil, louvre units, Kawneer 2074 series fire resistant windows and glass canopies.

The new Tenby Lifeboat station was constructed to house and launch the RNLI’s state
of the art Tamar class lifeboat.
Due to restrictions on vehicles passing through the narrow Georgian streets all
materials had to be delivered by sea using an MB2 amphibious landing vehicle which
was loaded and launched from nearby Penally.
The Main Contractor Dean and Dyball Ltd appointed AB Glass to untertake the Design
,Manufacture and istallation of Aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling which
comprised of Kawneer 603 Tilt/Turn windows, 605, 190 doors and 1202 curtain walling
extrusions all in a Sandalor blue Anodised finish, glazed with self clean 24mm double
glazed units.

The Devere Village Hotel was designed to include Aluminium windows, doors, curtain
walling and red cedar panel. Manufactured and installed by AB Glass utilising Kawneer
ACS 51W tilt and turn windows, Kawneer 190 Series Doors, Kawneer AA605 doors, Kawneer
451PT framing, Kawneer AA100 Zone drain Curtain Walling all to a powder coated finish,
glazed with 28mm double glazed units and red cedar cladding panels.
