Following a successful start to 2016, AB Glass, the Swansea-based aluminium manufacturing and installation company, has hired a business development manager (BDM) who will be responsible for continuing to grow the business, as well as a new production and lean manufacturing assistant.
Patrick Furlong joins the team with an extensive background in the construction industry and has also achieved a PHD in Computational Chemistry from Swansea University. Carla James joins the team as a junior lean manufacturer. Carla received a 2.1 in Business Management (Operations and Supply) also from Swansea University.
Nigel Harvey, director of operations for AB Glass, said:
“The first quarter of 2016 has seen almost £2.6 million being added to our order books, and recently we have added a further £1 million so it makes sense that we once again expand the team.
“Our new team members will help with the continued growth of the company going forward; both have the necessary skills to participate and add value to our already successful team.”
