AB Glass, a leading aluminium manufacturing and installation company, is recruiting for an experience estimator to join its Swansea-based team.
Applicants are advised that experience in the facades sector of the construction industry is a prerequisite.
Job Purpose:
To provide well presented, accurate and competitively priced estimates to our main contractor customers, with the overall aim of securing projects.
Experience Required:
Proven track record in successful facades estimating
Experience in the UK
Construction related qualifications preferred
Use of industry recognised estimating software packages
IT skills – MS Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to read and measure from Auto Cad
Relevant industry knowledge in particular: principles of building physics and structure in so much as it relates to our services; good knowledge of curtain wall, doors and window façade products, and current building regulations is essential.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Good level of accuracy and administrative efficiency
Ability to effectively plan and schedule work
Must have a strong level of numeracy.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience within full facade estimating.
A commensurate salary/package is offered dependent upon experience.
