The team at AB Glass are delighted to have completed a landmark project at Aberystwyth University that involved the refurbishment and creation of new facilities of one of its most famous halls of residence.
Working closely with contractor Morgan Sindall the project’s completion means Pantycelyn Halls will open in time for September. G Hopkins Installations and AnR Specialists also supported us on the job that involved units that were 6m² (2636 x 2300mm] and weighed 285kg.
The newly revamped halls will offer brand new en-suite accommodation for up to 200 students who wish to live through the medium of Welsh, exciting social spaces, games facilities and fully equipped study rooms.
A five-minute walk from the Penglais campus and town, the university describes Pantycelyn as the beating heart of Aberystwyth University’s vibrant Welsh speaking community.
