We are delighted to be working closely alongside contractor Morgan Sindall on a project that will make a big difference to the young people that attend Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School in the Afan Valley.
The first pieces of glazing have now been installed in the sports hall area of the major project for the school, which is part of the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools and Education Programme.
The new build will be built on the school playing fields with a completion date to accommodate the start of the new term in September 2021. The school, which comes under the Neath Port Talbot local authority is used by more than 600 pupils.
Once this phase is completed the pupils and staff will move in, and the second phase will commence. This will involve the demolition of the existing building and the construction of an Astroturf and grass playing areas.

“Despite the challenging times we are living through, we were still able to complete this project while following government guidelines around safety and social distancing at all times.”
