In his capacity as the president of Swansea Bay Business Club, our Managing Director Alan Brayley chaired an important virtual round table debate examining the opportunities and challenges facing the construction industry this month.
The event, held on Thursday December 10 via Zoom, featured Mark Davies, Managing Director of LBS Builders Merchants; Ian Morgan, Managing Director, Morganstone; Neil Barber, Managing Director, Pobl Group; Enzo Sauro, Director, Enzo’s Homes; and Darren Miles, Director, Miles Hire South Wales.
The event, held in partnership with Season Sponsor Swansea University School of Management and sponsored by Miles Hire, covered the construction industry’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic and its future outlook.
The discussion provided valuable insights for the business club’s members. It also included a Q&A session at the end, offering the opportunity for members to contribute.
Alan Brayley said: “This was a fantastic event, which offered members some fascinating insights into how the construction industry has handled the pandemic and the opportunities that may emerge as a result. It was fantastic to be able to chair this event and also share my own perspective as the MD of AB Glass.”
The event was the start of a series of similar events. The next will take place on January 14 and cover the manufacturing industry.
