In his capacity as the president of Swansea Bay Business Club, our Managing Director, Alan Brayley, has chaired an important virtual round table debate examining the hospitality industry’s response to COVID-19 and the future outlook of the sector.
The event, held on Thursday February 11 via Zoom, also featured Michael Kill, CEO, Night Time Industries Association; Andrew Roberts, owner, The Plough Hotel & Restaurant; Huw Pendleton, Managing Director, Celtic Holiday Parks; Andrew Hole, Managing Director, Oldwalls Gower; and Alun Williams, Chief Executive, Swansea Building Society.
The event, held in partnership with Season Sponsor Swansea University School of Management, was sponsored by Swansea Building Society.
The discussion provided valuable insights for the business club’s members. It also included a Q&A session at the end, offering the opportunity for members to contribute.
Alan Brayley said:
“I really enjoyed this event and the opportunity to hear our experienced panellists discuss the hospitality industry’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic. It was refreshing to hear the panellists offer their views on how the industry has coped with the many challenges it has experienced in the past 12 months as well as some of the opportunities on the horizon.”
