We were delighted to work alongside global construction specialist ISG to deliver a £40 million student high-rise accommodation block at Mariner Street, Swansea, a project that is transforming Swansea’s skyline.
Reaching 19 stories and 78 metres tall, the building will house 780 students and be the second tallest in the city.
We fabricated and installed Kawneer AA720e windows along with AA720 and AA190 swing doors. Due to various acoustic requirements on the build, we also supplied acoustic glass and trickle vents, which help protect the end users from external noise.
The project will be the third scheme ISG has delivered for Fusion Student. The new development will open in time for the start of the 2021 academic year and it represents a key part of Swansea’s expansive regeneration plans.
